UPDATE 2:54 pm – The suspect, Eulalio Tordil, is now in custody in the area of Aspen Hill, Md. according to police. A press conference will be held at an undetermined time to discuss this development.
UPDATE 2:40 pm – NIH in Bethesda is now on lockdown as police continue to search for 62-year-old law enforcement officer Eulalio Tordil, who is wanted in connection with fatal shootings from yesterday and earlier today.
UPDATE 2:28 pm – Takoma Park City Building is now on lockdown.
UPDATE 2:10 pm – The shelter has been lifted at all Montgomery County schools except for the following: Parkland Middle School, Strathmore Elementary School, Georgian Forest Elementary School, Brookhaven Elementary School, and Harmony Hills Elementary School.
UPDATE 1:55 pm – One man has died, another man is in critical.grave condition, and a woman is being treated for non-life threatening injuries in connection with the shooting at Westfield Montgomery Mall. This brings the death count up to two for these shootings. As a precautionary measure, Montgomery County schools are on lockdown. Police are searching for a silver 2015 Hyundai Elantra with the following Pennsylvania license plate tag: JZA-0123. The next police press conference is at 3:00 pm.

BETHESDA, Md. – Separate shootings were reported near Bethesda, Md. earlier today. One woman was fatally wounded after being shot at a Giant grocery store in Aspen Hill, Md. The other shooting occurred at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, leaving three people injured.
ABC7 is even reporting that 62-year-old wanted man Eulalio Tordil, who is wanted by police after murdering his estranged wife at a school yesterday, could be involved in the shooting at Montgomery Mall. Tordil is an officer working for the Federal Protective Service.
