On Tuesday, Jan 22, the Charles County Commissioners approved modifying the school zone speed limit times in front of Wade Elementary School, on Smallwood Drive West in Waldorf. The new hours for the school zone reduced speed of 25 mph will be 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. A new permanent sign will be posted with these hours on or about Feb. 13.
