The following arrests have been re[orted by the Patrol Division of the St. Maryโs County Sheriffโs Office on October 16, 2013:
Assault
On October 8, 2013, Deputy Gaskill responded to a residence located in Lexington Park for a reported disturbance. The victim alleged Monique Naomi Oday, 23, of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim during a domestic related argument. Oday allegedly kicked the victim in the leg. Deputy Gaskill observed fresh evidence of injury and placed Oday under arrest. She was transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center and charged with 2nd Degree Assault.
Disorderly Conduct/Resisting Arrest
On October 11, 2013, Sergeant Young responded to the area of Great Mills Court in Lexington Park for a report of property destruction. He located Teriss Terrell Luckett II, 20, of Great Mills, yelling at persons in the area. Sergeant Young ordered Luckett to stop yelling several times and he refused. Residents of nearby homes began to look out of the windows at the disturbance being created by Luckett. Sergeant Young told Luckett he was under arrest and attempted to place him in handcuffs. Luckett resisted arrest, but was eventually placed into custody with the assistance of additional officers. Luckett was transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center by Deputy Pontorno. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Failure to Obey Law Enforcement Officer, and Property Destruction.
Assault/False Statement/Failure to Obey Lawful Order
On October 13, 2013 at 3:40am, Deputy Flerlage responded to a residence in Lexington Park, Maryland, for a reported assault. The victim was speaking to Deputy Flerlage while the suspect was on the scene. The suspect identified himself as James Noble Posey and provided a date of birth. Deputy Flerlage returned to speak to the victim, who alleged the suspect had thrown a glass of water on the victim and struck the victim in the face with his hands. Deputy Flerlage advised Posey he was under arrest and attempted to handcuff him. Posey fled on foot and Deputy Flerlage gave chase. Deputy Teague was in the area and spotted Posey. Posey was apprehended by Deputy Teague. Deputy Flerlage transported Posey to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center. Once at the detention center, Deputy Flerlage determined Posey had provided a false name and date of birth. The suspectโs true identity was Terrance Perez Posey, 32, of Forrestville, Maryland and had an active warrant through the United States Marshals Office. Terrance Posey was charged with 2nd Degree Assault, False Statement to Police Officer, Failure to Obey Lawful Order.ย
