The trees are shaking off the frost, the flowers are awakening from their slumber, and newborn critters are seeing the sunshine for the first time. That’s right–It’s springtime here at Piscataway Park, and things are already in full swing!

On April 1st we welcomed more than 650 visitors for Lattes With Lambs to mark the beginning of the visitor season and showcase all of the adorable newborn lambs. Since then, we removed over 300 pounds of trash from the shoreline during the annual Potomac River Clean-Up and hosted a Modern Homesteading Workshop to teach participants how to make yogurt and soft cheeses.

We want to thank not only the people who bring their friends and family to enjoy these events with us but also all of the volunteers who offer helping hands to make them possible.

As the weather continues to bring beautiful blooms and sunny days, we hope to see you here at Piscataway Park to walk the trails, visit the barnyard, or attend an upcoming event. To stay up to date on all future happenings check out the calendar of events on our website.
