St. Mary’s County Public Schools Does Not Have Current Need for Redistricting Say Staff

Based on staff recommendations, the Board of Education of St. Mary’s County and Dr. Michael J. Martirano, superintendent of schools, have found no need for redistricting action for the 2006-2007 school year. 

In the fall of 2006, school system staff will review the September 30, 2006 official enrollment and ten-year projections, and will make recommendations to the superintendent of schools regarding the need to establish a School Boundary Advisory Committee to look at future redistricting options if necessary.
