CALIFORNIA, Md. — The Starbucks located in the St. Mary’s Marketplace Shopping Center in California, Maryland, suddenly decided to shut down for the rest of the evening for what was described as “deep cleaning” of the premises.
The individual who answered the phone noted that someone who had been on the premises had recently displayed multiple symptoms of the coronavirus, but said they were “not at liberty to say” whether or not the individual in question was an employee or guest. They also disclosed that the store is currently planning to reopen tomorrow morning at 7am.
This issue was brought to TheBayNet.com‘s attention after someone had tried to order their drinks from their phone, only to arrive and find the doors shut. The patron was told to come back the following day to have their drink re-made for them.
