At 8:40 p.m. Feb. 14, Dep. V. Bortchevsky of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 110 W. Dares Beach Road, the Calvert Village Shopping Center for a report of a disorderly male.
The complainant reported that the male was intoxicated.
Dep. Bortchevsky and Tfc. S. Keen of the Prince Frederick barrack contacted the subject in the parking lot standing next to a white Cadillac occupied by two people.
The officers detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
The front seat passenger, identified as Jonathan R. Valentine, 21, of Prince Frederick, was searched and found to have marijuana in his possession. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
