On April 27, Detectives from the St. Mary’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division executed a Search and Seizure Warrant on the home of Craig Wesley Norton, located in Leonardtown.
Detectives conducted the investigation into Norton’s sale of prescription drugs.
Numerous illegal prescription pills were recovered along with more than $1,500 in United States Currency.
Norton was arrested and charged with possession of the illegal prescription pills and possession of prescription medication with the intent to distribute.
A second suspect could be charged and that is pending a review with the State’s Attorney’s Office.
