Huntingtown, MD— On Jan.8 George M. Richardson, 42, of Huntingtown was charged with numerous drug-related offenses ranging from CDS distribution, large amount; to CDS possession, not marijuana. Also two other suspects–identified as Katelyn A. Echard, 24 of North Beach; and Stefani D. Hangliter, 25, of King George, Va ., were also charged with drug related offenses.ย 

According to court documents, “Members of the Special Operations Team observed the front seat passenger, identified as Hangliter, shoving something into her pants as they executed the stop. Detective Quinn searched Hangliter and located a plastic bag containing 53 grams of heroin.”ย 

The heroin that the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office was able to obtain from the suspects was estimated to have a street value of $6,300.ย 

“When Richardson began to drive he told the passengers he needed to go to Annapolis, MD to buy more Heroin. Echard knew where the three were going, never told Richardson to let her out of the vehicle,” according to court documents. “A search and seizure warrant on Richardson’s trailer was executed shortly after the vehicle. The drug enforcementย unit located hypodermic syringes, a digital scale with heroin residue, cell phone, paper ledger, suboxone strips, and U.S. mail issued to Richardson. Richardson and Echard stated they saw cops. Hangliter advised Richardson then told her to hide it and shove it in her vagina. Hangliter began to shove the heroin in her vagina but told Richardson it wouldn’tย all fit.” ย ย 

Richardson has a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled Feb.8 at Calvert County District Court.ย 

The investigating officer who prepared the charging documents, in this case, was Dfc. Fox of Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.ย
