CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. – The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a vehicle fire that left a man’s 2004 Yukon Denali completely destroyed, July 14.
At 2:37 a.m., a passer-by travelling on Route 6 in the area of Rybikowsky Lane, Charlotte Hall noticed a vehicle on fire and called 911. Five firefighters from the Hughesville VFD responded and had the fire under control within 10 minutes. Investigation revealed the fire to be incendiary and originated from inside the vehicle. The overall cost of damage is estimated to be $10,000.
