UPDATE – Masked Robbers Shoot Victim After Stealing Jacket In Waldorf
WALDORF, Md. – A teenager was injured in a shooting that occurred in the area of 3600 Leonardtown Road this afternoon, March 11, 2024, at approximately 2:28 p.m.
A 911 call reported the shooting and the caller noted they were hiding. Once the scene was secured, crews discovered an 18-year-old male victim conscious and breathing, but suffering from a gunshot wound to the knee.
EMS evaluated the patient and transported him by ambulance to an area trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the police, the shooting occurred in the parking lot behind the business. The suspects fled in a dark vehicle.
Detectives are on the scene, and currently, the motive is not clear. Anyone with information is asked to call 301-932-2222.
