At 10:17 p.m. April 21, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 3900 block of Wintergreen Place for the report of a fight in the roadway.
Investigation revealed a group of suspects assaulted two males, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old, both of Waldorf, with baseball bats and a handgun during an altercation.
One of the suspects fired the handgun but no one was injured by the shot.
Both victims were transported to Prince George’s General Hospital with head injuries.
