LEONARDTOWN, Md. — The Color & Light Society of Southern Maryland invites the community to a two-day art show at The Fenwick Inn on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
Held at The Fenwick Inn, located at 41685 Fenwick Street in downtown Leonardtown, this special art event will bring together original artwork, live artist demonstrations and new hands-on community art projects in the heart of Leonardtown’s Arts & Entertainment District.
Guests are invited to browse and purchase original artwork created by talented local artists from across Southern Maryland. The show will feature a wide variety of styles, subjects and mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, oil, pottery, glasswork, woodworking, mixed media, photography and more.
New this year, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in free community art projects, adding an interactive element to the event and giving visitors of all ages a chance to experience the joy of creating art. In addition, participating artists will offer live demonstrations throughout the show, giving guests a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.
The Fenwick Inn’s warm historic charm and elegant setting provide an inviting backdrop for this celebration of local art, creativity and community connection. Visitors can meet participating artists, discover new work, shop for one-of-a-kind pieces and enjoy an inspiring afternoon surrounded by creativity.

The Color & Light Society of Southern Maryland, known as a “Gallery Without Walls,” is a nonprofit collective of visual artists from Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties.
