Three people were arrested after two of them were caught stealing about $30 worth of items from the 7-11 Convenience Store on Hallowing Point Road in Prince Frederick on July 21 at 11:24 a.m.
A customer contacted 911 after she observed one of the store clerks being pushed by a suspect. Cpl. D. Canning and Dep. P. Mosely responded to the call and determined from victim and witness accounts that three people entered the store and two of them were observed putting items into a purse and attempting to leave the store without paying for the items.
When the suspect women were questioned by the store clerks they denied stealing the items and a third suspect who was with them pushed one of the clerks and threw a food item at another clerk.
Jeffrey Brian McMichael, Jr., 28 of Hughesville, was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Patricia Marie McMichael, 29 of Hughesville and Crystal Lynn Hancock, 27 of Brandywine, were both charged with theft under $100 and disorderly conduct.
