At 6 p.m. April 6, TFC T. Quade of the Leonardtown trooper barrack responded to Chickadee Circle, Lexington Park, for a reported destruction of property to two new constructed homes.
While on the scene, the Emergency Communications Center dispatcher advised that a witness had observed three subjects leave the area on bicycles and gave descriptions.
With the assistance of deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department the subjects were located and detained. TFC Quade and the witness responded to the Deputies’ location.
The witness identified the three subjects as those leaving the homes. The subjects were identified as juveniles, ages 13, 14, and 16. All from the California area.
All three were placed under arrest and transported to the State Police Barrack. They were charged with Malicious Destruction of Property and released to their parents pending disposition by Juvenile Justice Authorities.
