At 10:56 p.m. Oct. 18, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 3400 block of Rockefeller Court in Waldorf for the report of a strong arm robbery. Investigation revealed the victim, a 19-year-old Waldorf man, was walking home when he was approached by the suspect in the area of Route 925 and Acton Lane.
The suspect and victim had a conversation and walked to the area of Huntington Circle, when the suspect took the victim’s cell phone and made phone calls without permission.
The suspect demanded money and drugs and searched the victim’s pants pockets. The suspect took cash from the victim and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a dark-complexioned black male in his mid-20s with short hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer J. McKenzie is investigating.
