At 1:46 P.M. on Saturday, September 17, 2011, rescue crews from Hollywood were dispatched for the personal injury accident on the 23000 block of Three Notch Road just north of Airport Road in California in the north bound lanes. Crews from Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad Co. 79 responded from the St. Mary’s Airport where they were attending an event while Squad 7 responded from Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department Co. 7. Crews arrived on scene to find two vehicles in a rear-end style collision with one patient. Traffic was blocked in the north bound lanes while the patient was removed from the vehicle. The patient was transported to a local hospital and the last unit cleared the scene at 2:02 P.M.
