On Oct. 9, at 10:34 a.m., William Robert Hidey, 41 of Mechanicsville, was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans for possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Hidey was operating a black Cadillac on northbound Three Notch Road in Hollywood, in the area of Beck Road when he was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. Tpr. Evans made contact with Hidey and a strong odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle.
During the course of the traffic stop, Hidey was found to be in possession of two small baggies of marijuana and a purple and silver metal CDS smoking device containing marijuana.
Hidey was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
