Lusby, MD – On March 3, 2017, at approximately 10:30pm, Deputy D. Naughton initiated a traffic stop in the area of Town Square Drive, in Lusby, on a vehicle being operated with a right rear brake light out. ย He approached the driver, Brenda Pagliocchini, 30, of Prince Frederick, who advised she just recently received a repair order for the violation.

While the Control Center advised Deputy Naughton of both occupants prior drug history, Deputy T. Holt, Deputy J. Morgan and his K9 partner, arrived on the scene to assist.ย  A K9 sniff of the vehicle received a positive alert for CDS.ย 

A search of the vehicle revealed a blue plastic baggie containing raw marijuana in the rear pocket of the driver seat, a pill container containing eleven (11) blue pills (Alprazolam) and six (6) white pills (Oxycontin).ย  Pagliocchini was charged with CDS Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic (Oxycontin), CDS Possession of a Dangerous Nonnarcotic Drug (Alprazolam) and Possession of Paraphernalia (pill container/no label).ย 

The passenger, Dennis Dean, 32, of Prince Frederick, was charged with Possession of Marijuana (15.5 grams) and Possession of Paraphernalia (baggie).ย  Both were transported to the Detention Center.
