At 12:35 p.m. Oct. 3, Carla Renee Clarke, 29, of Hollywood was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach on charges of possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.
Clarke was operating an Acura RSX when TFC Trossbach stopped her for exceeding the posted speed limit on Route 245 at Dorsey Park in Hollywood.
A MVA check revealed Ms. Clarke’s driving privilege is suspended and she was arrested.
A search incident to arrest revealed cocaine and CDS paraphernalia in the vehicle, police say.
Clarke was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.
At 1:21 a.m. Oct. 5, Trooper J. Pilkerton initiated a traffic stop on Route 5 in Callaway for failing to drive in a single lane. Contact was made with the driver, Steven Preston Yates, 57, of Loveville.
An odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from the vehicle. A MVA check revealed Yates’ driving privilege was suspended. He was subsequently arrested for driving on suspended license and DUI.
A search incident to arrest revealed Yates was also in possession of Cocaine and CDS paraphernalia, police say.
Yates was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review.
