At 2:06 a.m. Jan. 12, Officer A. Schwab of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle on Crain Highway near Conoy Place in Faulkner because the driver was possibly intoxicated.
The vehicle turned onto Conoy Place and attempted to elude the officer. The officer pursued the vehicle, which was not traveling at a high rate of speed, to the end of Conoy Place, where the suspect vehicle struck a tree. Its two occupants fled on foot.
Officers recovered several guns from the vehicle. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-2222.
