On July 24, at 8:23 p.m., Tpr. R. L. Jackson responded to the 26000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for the reported Malicious Destruction of a Mailbox.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 70, of Mechanicsville who advised unknown suspect(s) bent the door on the mailbox and ripped it from the post.
Neighborhood checks were conducted and the investigation is ongoing.
On July 25, at 8:28 a.m., TFC J. A. Pilkerton responded to the 27000 block of Burch Manor Circle in Mechanicsville for the reported Malicious Destruction of Property to a motor vehicle.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the male victim, 24, of Mechanicsville. He advised sometime during the night between 1:30 a.m.– 8:28 a.m. on July 25th unknown suspect(s) damaged his 2005 red Ford Explorer Sport.
The vehicle had a deep scratch along the left front quarter panel and along the driver’s side door. The damage is estimated to be $1,000.00.
Neighborhood checks were conducted and the investigation continues.
