The St. Maryโ€™s County Board of Commissioners unloaded near two tons of donated food this morning to food pantries in Lexington Park and Leonardtown. On Dec. 9 though 11, area residents answered the call for food donations during the first-ever โ€œStuff-a-Busโ€ event.

A STS bus was parked near the Three Notch Theatre in Lexington Park during these days and residents dropped off canned goods and other non-perishable items.

This morning, the board of commissioners personally unloaded the bus at St. Maryโ€™s Caring Soup Kitchen in Lexington Park and St. Paulโ€™s United Methodist Church โ€˜s Loaves and Fishes Ministry in Leonardtown.
