On Sunday, August 09, 2015 at approximately 1:40 pm, a call was dispatched for a vehicle auto accident at Route 260 East and Horace Ward Road.
There was one person transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital.
For about 30 minutes traffic was stopped going East on Route 260 and traffic had to make U-Turn and take another route into beach.
As soon as possible one lane was open again with temporary shut down until the vehicles were removed from roadway. All lanes were open by 2:30 pm.
