At 9:28 a.m. May 11, a 17-year-old male, of Pomfret, was arrested for possession of Marijuana.
The juvenile was operating a red Jeep Grand Cherokee on Route 5 at Route 235 in Mechanicsville when he was stopped for speeding.ย During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with the juvenile and a unique odor of Marijuana was emanating from within the vehicle.
A clear baggie of Marijuana and a CDS smoking device were found within the vehicle.ย The juvenile was taken into custody and was transported to the Leonardtown Barracks.ย The juvenile male was charged with possession of Marijuana and possession of a CDS smoking device.ย He was released to the custody of his mother pending further action by Juvenile Services.
At 11:56 a.m. May 11, Warren Len Moak, 50, of Ridge, was arrested by TFC L. Nims for DWI/DUI and possession of Marijuana.
Moak was operating a white Saturn when he was stopped on Route 4, at South Patuxent Beach Road in California as a result of a broadcast for a possible drunk driver and reckless operation.
During the course of the traffic stop, Moak was arrested DWI/DUI.ย A search incident to the arrest revealed two metal cans containing Marijuana. Moak was transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center where he was incarcerated pending a bond review.
At 8:55 p.m. May 9, Trooper W. Scarlett was on routine patrol eastbound Route 228 in the area of Sun Valley Road, when he stopped Severn Pricilla Jackson, 39 years of Waldorf, for a traffic violation.
An MVA check revealed her license suspended and revoked through Maryland.ย Jackson was arrested for driving on a suspended license.
A search of Jackson at the Charles County Detention Center revealed a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana.ย Jackson was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia.
Calvert Sheriffโs Deputy Kevin Hall conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on 5th Street and Dayton Ave in North Beach on May 8.
The occupants were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana.ย The driver and front seat passenger, a female and a male, both 17 and from Owings, were charged on youth reports with possession of drug paraphernalia, a blue and silver smoking device containing suspected marijuana residue.
They were each released to a parent on the scene.ย The rear passenger, Jeremy M. Blasiar, 18 of Chesapeake Beach, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Calvert Sheriffโs Deputy Michael Mudd responded to the intersection of Birch Drive and Wilson Road in Huntingtown at 10:08 p.m. May 8, for the report of an aggressive driver.
After locating the suspect vehicle and making contact with the driver, later identified as a 15-year-old male from Huntingtown, it was discovered the juvenile was in possession of two marijuana smoking devices.ย He was charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia on a youth report and released to a parent.
At 5:15 p.m. May 7, Salman Mohammad Nasrullah, 20, of Callaway, was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans for possession of Marijuana.
Nasrullah was operating a green Toyota Camry on Route 5 in Leonardtown when he was stopped for an equipment violation.ย D
