FORESTVILLE, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit charged the suspect wanted for robbing a bank in Forestville earlier this month. The suspect is 52-year-old Kevin Hitch of Upper Marlboro. Hitch turned himself in Wednesday night several hours after the department released his image. We thank everyone who shared his photos on social media, the community, as well as members of the news media.

On May 18, 2026, at approximately 9:45 am, Hitch walked into the bank in the 3400 block of Donnell Drive. Once at the counter, he passed a note to an employee demanding cash. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.

Hitch is charged with armed robbery, second-degree assault, and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
