Update, March 18, 10 p.m.

The bond on sexual offense suspect Alan Huff was revoked.โ€ช St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office deputies located and arrested Huff. He is now incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.

According to court documents Huff has been released on bond.


Leonardtown, MD – On Monday, March 16, St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Department deputies responded to MedStar St. Maryโ€™s Hospital for a reported sexual offense.
A 5-year-old female victim disclosed she had been sexually assaulted by suspect Alan Lee Huff, 40, of Lexington Park (pictured, left). Based on the nature of the allegations Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the hospital and assumed the investigation.

During the investigation, a second female victim, age 6, disclosed she had also been sexually assaulted by Huff.

Detectives executed search and seizure warrants and evidence was recovered.ย 

Huff was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center. He was originally held on a no bond status. A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office confirms that Huff is currently being held in lieu of $150,000.ย 

He has been charged with: two counts each of first-degree sexual offense, sexual abuse of minor, sodomy, assault second-degree, fourth-degree sexual offense; and one count of child pornography film/computer sexual act

Investigators with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) assisted with the investigation. The sheriff’s office has declined to divulge the nature of NCIS’ involvement in the case.
