Today, Friday, July 22, is forecast to be Code Red air quality for the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas. VanGO charges no fares to encourage residents to use public transportation when air quality reaches this high level of pollution.
Passengers may board any route without payment of a fare and upon initial boarding will be issued an all-day pass, good until the end of service Friday night.
