Waldorf Marketplace, one of the premier shopping destinations in southern Maryland, is hosting its annual Winter Wonderland celebrations from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, and Sunday, December 21. The events will feature seasonally inspired entertainment and activities including strolling carolers, a holiday rock band, a free gift-wrapping station, a photo booth and more.
“The purpose of these events is to give people the opportunity to enjoy a fun, festive environment while shopping at Waldorf Marketplace. We want to make this a holiday tradition for families,” said Anita Adams, senior property manager for CNL Commercial Real Estate, the company that manages Waldorf Marketplace. “We’re hoping folks will come not only to enjoy some fun holiday activities but also to check out some of our many quality retailers.”
In addition to enjoying free holiday entertainment and activities, shoppers can take advantage of free gift-wrapping. The station will be located between Noodles & Company and Coldstone Creamery. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for shoppers to enter in a drawing for an iPad mini giveaway.
“We’ll also be collecting everyday essentials to benefit teenagers at the Structures Youth Home in Faulkner, Md.,” Adams said. “So bring some cold weather gear or toiletries to help a local teen in need.”
Waldorf Marketplace is conveniently located at 3051 Waldorf Market Place (on U.S. Route 301 at the corner of Berry Road and Western Parkway) in Waldorf.
