WALDORF, Md. — After a brief three-week closure, Szechuan Garden has officially reopened its doors, welcoming back customers with a refreshed space and a renewed commitment to cleanliness and quality.
During the closure, management conducted a full deep cleaning and implemented enhanced safety and sanitation measures throughout the restaurant. The team also completed additional staff training and kitchen upgrades to ensure every guest enjoys a safe and satisfying dining experience.

“We’re so grateful for the patience and support from our loyal customers,” said the owner. “Our priority has always been to provide great food in a welcoming and trustworthy environment — and we took this time to make sure we’re doing everything right.”
The restaurant underwent an inspection before reopening, and all requirements have been fully met. Szechuan Garden has been cleared to resume normal operations. Management emphasized that the improvements made during the temporary closure were part of a long-term effort to uphold high standards for food preparation and customer service.

Szechuan Garden continues to serve authentic Chinese cuisine in the heart of Waldorf, featuring traditional favorites and chef’s specials made fresh daily.

Are we having coconut roaches at a discount
Nah I’m good
I just could NEVER unsee what we saw. Unfortunately. They’ve lost my business for good.
It was ok, but it was missing something. Just didn’t have that Orient pop to it.
I was a HUGE FAN of this place. Even had out of town visitors that always stopped there when in town. What doesn’t sit right with me is that instead of voluntarily shutting down for a week or 2 to clean up (yes it would’ve been a financial hit), they chose to continue to allow the filth to fester. Now they were forced to shut down, but not only have they lost money they’ve severely damaged their reputation. I won’t be going back, which I’m a lil sad about, but it’s the principle for me. They didn’t care until they were forced to. And after reading the reports, they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
Eating there after being closed for the big no-no in restaurant 101? No thanks.
Same here they permanently loss my business. Food safety is everything.
I be damn if I ever eat in there
Yuk! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Are you crazy! They were forced to clean! Hell to the NO!
No amount of cleaning will ever clear a restaurant’s name, especially in the Dirty Dorf!
