MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — Units recently responded to quite the mess on Thompson Corner Road.
At approximately 2:54 p.m. on March 6, the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a call of hay spilled in the road. Crews arrived to discover hay bales which had fallen off a vehicle, and dispersed across the roadway.
Units were able to clear all hazards from the road in a brief 15 minutes, and resume regular service shortly after.
