Who set fire on Grandpop’s Place?

Indian Head, MD – Units from Marbury, NDW Stump Neck FD, Bryans Road and Nanjemoy Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a home on Grandpop’s Place in Indian Head for the report of a fire.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal the fire was intentionally set inside the front porch area of the home.

The fire was discovered by a neighbor and it took about five minutes for 20 firefighters to control the flames.

Damage is estimated at $1,000. The home was unoccupied at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported. Investigation is ongoing.
