At 10:44 p.m. May 15, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 20 block of East Poplar Lane in Indian Head for the report of a large fight.
Upon officers’ arrival they found a man in the residence yelling and screaming at two people on the roadway. As officers attempted to help family members control the man, he struck Officer J. Long, Jr., in the face with his head.
Jermaine Jay Mason, 18, of Indian Head was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer. The two people on the roadway were identified as Angeleo Michael Rabasco, 23, of Indian Head and Kelly Bernard Brown, 25, of Bryans Road.
They were arrested and charged with trespassing. Mason, Rabasco and Brown are being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. Officer P. Mann investigated.
