
NEWBURG, Md. — The fourth annual Taste of Southern Maryland festival will return Sunday, April 26, 2026, bringing a full day of food, drinks, live music, and family-friendly activities to benefit the Maryland Veterans Museum.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Maryland Veterans Museum at Patriot Park, located at 11000 Crain Highway in Newburg. A rain date is set for Sunday, May 3, 2026.
The festival highlights a wide range of Southern Maryland businesses, featuring local food vendors, wineries, distilleries, artisans and cottage food creators. Attendees can expect everything from barbecue, seafood and sweet treats to handmade goods, specialty items and interactive experiences throughout the day.
In addition to food and music, the event will feature family-friendly attractions including inflatables, face painting and more, offering something for all ages.
Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the event:
- 11 a.m.–1 p.m. — It’s About Time
- 1 p.m.–3 p.m. — Joe Matthews Band
- 3 p.m.–5 p.m. — Run Catch Rain
Admission is $10 per person, while children ages 12 and under are free. Tickets are nonrefundable, as proceeds support the Maryland Veterans Museum and its programs.
