On Dec. 21, 2009 at 6:46 p.m., Tpr. M. J. Pitcher responded to the Canopy Liquors in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for the reported Disturbance.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the male employee, 48 of Lexington Park, who advised Peggy Lynn Jones, 26 of Lexington Park, was trespassing and creating a disturbance inside the store. While speaking with the employee, Tpr. Pitcher observed the suspect, Jones assault a male patron inside the store.
Tpr. Pitcher took Jones in custody and she began to yell obscenities while being escorted from the store. She was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
