Lexington Park, MD— On May 26, Maryland State Police Dfc. Teague responded to the area of Queen Anne Park Apartments for the report of a check the welfare of a subject.
When Teague arrived on the scene contact was made with the victim who is the property manager for the apartments, and she advised, “A female subject was passed out in the parking lot near the intersection of Marshall Boulevard and Eric Road. The victim also advised that when she found the female subject she had no pants or underwear on, exposing her entire buttocks and vagina,” according to charging documents.
Teague was able to locate the female, identified as Deborah A. Barnaby, 51 of Lexington Park, Teague noticed that she was sitting on the sidewalk sweating profusely. Barnaby appeared to be very intoxicated, she had glassy, bloodshot eyes and spoke with slurred speech.
Barnaby admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day. “Barnaby was so intoxicated she could hardly form coherent sentences; she was unable to stand on her own, according to charging documents.
Teague contacted an ambulance for Barnaby because she was possibly dehydrated, and she mentioned she suffers from seizures.
An interview was conducted with one of the victims, in which the victim advised, “countless residents including young children were able to see Barnaby’s buttocks and vagina clearly,” according to charging documents.
Due to Barnaby’s medical condition, she was transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hosptial for treatment. Barnaby has been charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
At this time, Barnaby does not have a scheduled court date. Barnaby faces a maximum jail sentence of three years and two months and/or a maximum fine of $1,500.
