On June 15, Deputy Boyer responded to a residence on Hollywood Road for a report of an assault in progress.
Investigation revealed Kevin Scott Adams, 27 of Hollywood, was involved in a verbal dispute, which escalated into a physical assault when Adams pushed the victim to the ground and spit in her face.
Adams was arrested for second-degree assault.
