Owings, MD – A 27-year-old woman was transported to Prince George’s Shock Trauma after the vehicle she was driving went out of control and overturned Christmas night. The crash, which occurred at Route 260 and East Mount Harmony Road in the area of the Help Association headquarters at approximately 6 p.m., shut down a portion of the road while emergency crews worked to free the injured woman from the vehicle. The crash is being investigated by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.

Owings, MD – A serious motor vehicle collision was reported by Calvert County authorities Tuesday evening, Dec. 25 at Route 260 and East Mount Harmony Road. Witnesses reported an overturned vehicle with one occupant trapped. The roadway in the area of the Help Association was shut down as crews worked to free the trapped motorist. Police are investigating the crash and a report is pending.
