VALLEY LEE, Md. — A camper fire that occurred yesterday in Valley Lee was determined to be accidental, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

The fire broke out on the morning of April 4, 2024, at approximately 11:49 a.m., in the 19000 block of Russell Road. The property affected was a 2013 Cruiser RV View Finder owned by Charles Moore. There were no injuries reported.

Firefighters from the Second District Volunteer Fire Department were the primary responders. A total of 20 firefighters arrived on the scene and had the fire under control within 10 minutes.

The fire was discovered by the owner, which originated from the interior of the vehicle. The estimated loss to the structure is valued at $8,000.
