Waldorf, MD – October 4, 2019 – This evening fire department units from Charles County and Prince George County, responded to a reported house fire in the area of GREENMONT DR and CHAMBERLIN CT E.
Waldorf VFD units arrived on scene and found a well advanced fire in a 2 Story-Single Family Home. During the incident, several Firefighters were injured when a collapse of the 2nd floor ceiling/roof occurred.
A total of 11 Firefighters were transported to local hospitals for evaluation. We are relieved to report all injuries are minor in nature and all personnel are expected to be released soon.
