WALDORF, Md. — Two people were taken to area hospitals early Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Crain Highway in Waldorf.
Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 2:10 a.m. Aug. 15 to the 2000 block of Crain Highway near Shark Bar.
Initial calls indicated a possible pedestrian had been struck, but responders later determined two vehicles were involved and no pedestrian was hit.
One patient, a 35-year-old man, was reported to be bleeding from the left side of his face following the crash.
A second patient, a 36-year-old man, was also evaluated at the scene.
One patient was transported by ambulance to MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, while the other was taken to UM Charles Regional Medical Center.
Both patients’ injuries were listed as non-life-threatening.
Additional details about the circumstances leading to the crash were not immediately available.
