On 08/23/08 between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm, Senior Deputies First Class Emory Johnson and D. Ross of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office along with an 18 year old confidential informant conducted an under age controlled buy for alcohol.
Twelve establishments were visited with no sales of an alcoholic beverage being made to the under aged informant. The 12 establishments which successfully passed the controlled buy were: The Sign of the Whale, Charlies Deli and Pub, St. James Store and Deli, Rod N Reel, Raley’s Grocery Store, Spinnaker’s, St. Inigoes Mini Mart, Cooks Liquors Park Hall, St. Mary’s Fine Wine and Spirits, The Stop N Shop, County Liquors and 2000 liquors.
