At 6:01 pm, on March 17 Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 4400 block of Quinn Court in Waldorf for the report of an assault.
Investigation revealed a 13-year-old Waldorf boy was involved in an argument with the victim, a 43-year-old Waldorf man, about the boy playing in the street.
The boy chased the victim with a broom handle and then a knife before being disarmed by a neighbor. No one was injured.
The accused was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault. Officer J. Marti investigated
