maryland criminal summons

HOLLYWOOD, Md. — A Hollywood teenager is facing a felony theft charge after authorities say more than $25,000 worth of property, including weapons, cash and valuables, was stolen during a reported break-in in St. Mary’s County, according to court records.

Thomas Vincent Ferrall, 18, of Hollywood, was charged by criminal summons in connection with a March 2, 2026 incident on St. Johns Road.

According to charging documents, the victim reported a large number of items missing from a residence, including crossbows, compound bows, snake bows, pool sticks, antique foreign currency, credit cards, and approximately $15,000 in cash.

Investigators also reported the theft of a green Bear brand bow equipped with a laser sight, multiple cases of personal property, and a three-carat diamond ring valued at approximately $10,000.

Additional items reported stolen included keys to motorcycles and other personal belongings stored at the residence.

The victim indicated there were only a small number of individuals who knew where the items were kept, and investigators later identified Ferrall as a suspect in the case.

Charging documents state pawn shop records helped identify Ferrall in connection with the stolen property.

Ferrall is charged with theft between $25,000 and $100,000, a felony offense.

He was issued a criminal summons on April 14, 2026. Court records show a preliminary inquiry hearing scheduled for May 29, 2026, was waived.

Under Maryland law, theft between $25,000 and $100,000 carries a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $15,000.

A hearing was scheduled for May 29, 2026, in St. Mary’s District Court.
