At 4:24 pm, on Friday, February 9, TFC Nims observed a red Dodge Intrepid with an equipment violation on Rt. 235 in Lexington Park.
A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, Donald Lewis Bryan, 27, of Waldorf. A MVA check of his driver’s license revealed he was driving on a suspended Maryland license. Mr. Bryan was arrested for Driving While Suspended.
During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Bryan was found to be in possession of 3 small bags of marijuana and charged with possession of marijuana.
He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
