CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. — Two Deale men are facing charges after a disturbance at a North Beach convenience store led to a DUI investigation involving a Calvert County deputy on April 26, 2026.
Jacob Fuller Wilson, 27, and Jordan Law Wilson, 25, both of Deale, were charged in connection with the incident, according to court documents.
Deputies initially responded around 9:15 p.m. to the Fastop on Chesapeake Avenue in North Beach for reports of a fight involving multiple individuals in the parking lot. When officers arrived, the situation had de-escalated, but the individuals involved showed signs of alcohol consumption.
According to reports, Jordan Wilson became disorderly during the encounter, yelling profanities and causing a disturbance in front of customers and employees, drawing attention from bystanders and disrupting business operations.
Authorities also noted multiple knives inside a vehicle associated with the group, including a large steak knife and a pocket knife, though no weapons were reported to have been used.
A short time after deputies cleared the scene, a vehicle matching the group’s description was observed in Chesapeake Beach. The vehicle crossed the center line and nearly struck a deputy’s vehicle head-on, prompting a traffic stop.
During the subsequent investigation, Jacob Wilson showed signs of impairment, including slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. Field sobriety tests indicated multiple signs of impairment, according to the report. Empty alcohol containers were also located inside the vehicle.
Jacob Wilson was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, driving while impaired, reckless driving, negligent driving, and failure to drive right of center. He also faces an additional charge of malicious destruction of property under $1,000 after allegedly causing damage inside the detention center.
Jordan Wilson was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and intoxicated public disturbance.
Jacob Wilson was released on his own recognizance following a bond review on April 27, 2026. Jordan Wilson was also released on recognizance the same day.
A hearing is set for May 27, 2026, for Jordan Wilson, and June 10, 2026, for Jacob Wilson in Calvert District Court.
