30-Year-Old Driver Killed In Multi-Vehicle Collision

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred in Temple Hills on Saturday. The deceased driver is 30-year-old Darius Robinson of Oxon Hill.

On November 9, 2024, at approximately 9:25 pm, officers responded to the 4400 block of Wheeler Road for a crash involving three vehicles. Once on scene, they located the victim in his vehicle suffering from trauma. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The preliminary investigation revealed Robinson was driving eastbound on Wheeler Road when, for reasons now under investigation, his vehicle collided with a motor scooter and then with an SUV. The occupants of the SUV were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
