Lexington Park, MD— Jan. 24 at approximately 8:20 p.m., St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad, Bay District VFD, St.Mary’s Advanced Life Support, Emergency Medical Services responded to Point Lookout Road, in Lexington Park for the report of a 40-year-old female not breathing.
A female was discovered inside the residence and cold to the touch at the time of the original 911 call. CPR was not performed.
Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division responded and assumed the investigation.
The victim will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
The investigation is ongoing and additional details will be released as they are developed.
