CALIFORNIA, Md. — Two Great Mills women were charged after deputies responded to a large crowd and multiple disturbances at a California Wawa, where a parking lot fight broke out and officers later secured a handgun that fell to the ground.

Taniya Marie Jordan, 23, of Great Mills, is charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing and hindering, and failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order.

Haley Alexis Revolorio, 21, of Great Mills, is charged with second-degree assault, affray and disorderly conduct.

The charges stem from an incident reported May 23, 2026, at the Wawa near Three Notch Road and Route 4 in California.

According to statements of probable cause, multiple St. Mary’s County sheriff’s units responded to the business for a large crowd. Deputies reported multiple disturbances in the parking lot and inside the business, with several people yelling at one another.

The crowd was ordered to disperse multiple times, and most of the crowd left. A second disturbance then occurred in the parking lot.

During the response, a sheriff’s lieutenant observed a physical altercation involving Revolorio and another person, according to charging documents. Two unknown subjects attempted to separate them while they were on the ground actively assaulting each other.

Revolorio was detained by officers, and her identity was confirmed through her Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration photograph, according to court documents. She was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged.

In Jordan’s case, court documents state she entered a Jeep Cherokee that was backed into a parking space on the north side of the lot, directly in front of the Wawa. A man then ran to the vehicle and told Jordan to exit.

The situation drew officers’ attention, and a black handgun fell to the ground in view of officers. Multiple citizens were around the vehicle, and two additional people were inside the vehicle at the time.

Charging documents state the firearm was quickly secured by officers.

As officers tried to assist with detaining people inside the vehicle, multiple people were standing between the Jeep and another parked car, according to the statement of probable cause. An officer ordered people to back up, but Jordan allegedly refused.

Jordan continued yelling at officers and refused to leave the area, preventing officers from concentrating on what they described as a potentially dangerous and dynamic situation, according to charging documents.

The vehicle then backed out, and Jordan continued yelling at officers. An officer ordered her multiple times to stop the disorderly behavior.

Jordan was later placed under arrest and secured in a vehicle away from the crowd, according to the statement of probable cause. Other people inside the vehicle were detained without incident.

Court documents state the owner of the firearm and all occupants remained cooperative throughout the investigation. Investigators later determined the firearm owner had a valid permit. The firearm owner was released from custody, and the firearm was returned because he was legally allowed to carry it.

Charging documents state Jordan had been acting in a disorderly manner before the supervising officer arrived and had been warned multiple times to stop her behavior.

Court records show both Jordan and Revolorio were released on their own recognizance on May 23.

Revolorio has a trial/officer scheduling hearing scheduled for June 25, 2026, in St. Mary’s District Court. Jordan has a trial/officer scheduling hearing scheduled for July 9, 2026, in St. Mary’s District Court.
