The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are making it their priority to give back to the children this holiday season.  Pinch and the Blue Crabs staff are challenging all Blue Crabs fans in Southern Maryland and beyond in collecting over 250 new, unwrapped toys to be donated to the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Toys For Tots Drive.  Fans who bring one (1) new, unwrapped toy to be donated with them to the annual “Breakfast with Santa “Claws” will receive two (2) complimentary tickets good for either the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday game of Opening Weekend against the Lancaster Barnstormers.

The 4th Annual Breakfast with Santa “Claws” will take place on  December 10 from 8:00am-12:00pm at Regency Furniture Stadium in the Legends Club.  This event will feature a French toast breakfast, tours of the stadium, free hot chocolate, a holiday craft making station as well as a chance to get a picture taken with Old St. Nick!
“It’s extremely important to the Blue Crabs to give back to the community that supports us all season long and beyond.  We’ve paired our annual holiday event with this great cause in hopes of helping the Greater Waldorf Jaycees achieve their toy collection goal. In doing so, Pinch has made his own goal and with Southern Maryland behind us, we know that we can exceed both of these goals and make this holiday one to remember for some very deserving children,” said Blue Crabs Marketing Manager Courtney Freeland.

Breakfast tickets will be $5 if ordered in advance, and $6 at the door. To order your ticket in advance, contact Courtney Freeland at 301-374-1130 or email her at cfreeland@somdbluecrabs.com.
